Today is WEEK 1 of our ‘Autumn Acting Activities’ over this lockdown period. Each week we will be setting some optional activities you can get involved with from your own home!

⚙️TECHNICAL CHALLENGE:
Cosy Autumn Costume 🧤🧣
What would you wear to a bonfire, to watch a firework display or for a chilly Autumn walk?🎆 Decide on your setting and put together your costume! Have someone photograph you showing how you feel at your Autumn activity by using facial expressions and body language. 📷
📢PERFORMANCE/SCRIPT CHALLENGE: Autumn inspired script 🍂📜
Can you write and perform a monologue or duologue perfect for a cosy autumn night? 📝
First things first, we invite you to find something autumn themed as your inspiration – it could be the story of Guy Fawkes, a memory from a past Bonfire Night, or your favourite hat and scarf. Choose your stimulus and then write a short monologue or duologue inspired by this.
Some things to consider may be:
🍁 What is your stimulus? (A prop/costume/a memory/a picture/something from history… etc).
🍁 What setting does it make you think of?
🍁 Who is your character?
🍁 What situation are they in?
🍁 How are they feeling?
🍁 What is the beginning, middle and end of your monologue?
Once you’ve written your script have fun getting into character and performing it – record and share your performance with us if you would like to! 🎬
