The LAMDA* Group is a small class for students wishing to earn qualifications in Acting, Devising Drama, Mime, Public Speaking, Reading for Performance, Verse and Prose and Musical Theatre.
Students can work individually, in pairs or as a group to prepare for examinations in their chosen specialism and then share their work with a single examiner at a convenient LAMDA centre during the academic year.
The examinations are Ofqual regulated with medal grades earning UCAS points for university applications. The different qualifications and grades have varying preparation periods and so students will have autonomy over when they would like to be entered for an examination. Please note the examination fees are in addition to the tuition fees and these also vary depending on grade.
LAMDA examinations are not just for the dedicated performer but for any young person wanting to develop their skills and confidence in a range of performance arts.
